Dr. Armfield has treated thousands of patients over the years. He is a former adjunct professor at Albany College of Medicine and has taught hundreds of Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Radiologists to prepare for the Vascular Interpretation for the Physician Ultrasound Registry. (RPVI)

The focus of his practice is to combine evidenced treatments with our body’s natural ability to heal and maintain
wellness. Dr. Armfield is a proud member of the federally recognized Monacan Indian Nation centered in Virginia.

Dr. Robert K. Nichols
Chiropractic Physician

Robert K. Nichols is a Board Certified Chiropractor, studying Postgraduate Functional Neurology with an interest in brain rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, brain mapping and neurofeedback using Tesla Magnets and virtual reality (VR) data systems applications creating plasticity to assist patients who suffer chronic intractable pain. His medical education began as he received his Associate Degree in Surgical Assistant Technology from the University of Akron. From there, Dr. Nichols graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1993. His certifications include Advanced Understanding of Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology, where he attended Crash 2002 and participated in 14 human volunteer, full-scale crashes and their analysis, Low-Speed Rear Impact Crash Reconstruction from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.

Theresa M. Chambers,
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Theresa M. Chambers, PT, DPT is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainer’s Board and has been practicing physical therapy since 2006. Dr. Chambers completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wheeling Jesuit University. Her expertise is in sports medicine, joint replacements, spinal rehabilitation, orthopedic surgeries, neurosurgeries, and balance retraining. Continuing education courses have included Lymphedema Certification and wound management.

Danielle Holt, FNP-BC

Danielle is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Registered Nursing degree at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio and continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. Danielle then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Franciscan University located in Steubenville, Ohio. She holds a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Danielle is also a Certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Danielle worked as a Registered Nurse for eight years specializing in Emergency Trauma Care and Orthopedics. Danielle is an Ohio native, and in her spare time, she loves traveling, music, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys working and is dedicated to patient care and to improving the overall health and wellness of our patients here at Advanced Spinal Care & Rehabilitation.

Bridget Hamper, LMT

Bridget Hamper joined our team in June 2017. She attended Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and received her license from the Ohio State Medical Board in July 2011. She also studied under Thai Master Chuck Duff shortly after receiving her massage license.

Bridget has experience in other modalities such as deep tissue, therapeutic, Swedish, sports, hot stone, prenatal, and Indian head massage, as well as trigger point release, cupping, and Shirodhara.

In the future, Bridget plans to continue her education by studying active release techniques and active isolated stretching. Through constant learning, she aspires to help keep the patients at Advanced Spinal Care healthy and moving.

Debbie Williams, PTA

Debbie Williams, a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduated from Washington State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. She is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainer’s Board and has been practicing physical therapy since 2008. Prior to working at Advanced Spinal Care and Rehabilitation, Debbie practiced in a variety of physical therapy settings including Skilled Nursing, Home Health, School Systems, and Pediatrics. She is passionate in her field, displays enthusiasm, and is dedicated to individualized patient care.

Debbie is married to her husband, Mark, and has two incredible children, Colson and Isaac. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, cheering on her boys at sports events, and volunteering with the youth at Kennonsburg United Methodist Church.

Dr. Ronald Ambrosia, DO

Dr. Ambrosia graduated from The Ohio State University and completed medical school in 2002. He is Board Certified in emergency medicine and finished his residency training at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. He is currently practicing emergency medicine in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Ambrosia joined Advanced Spinal Care & Rehabilitation in 2017 to try and help chronic pain patients who have failed conservative treatment. He has successfully treated several hundred pain patients with non-narcotic procedures and devices. The combination of Chiropractic care and new treatment options has benefitted his patients significantly.

Dr. Ambrosia was born and raised in Boardman, Ohio. He is married to his wife, Julie and has two wonderful children, Morgan and Ron. He enjoys his family, 2 dogs and traveling.
